ASIAN
INSPIRED
This collection is a visual diary of experiences and inspirations. Primarily,
it is inspiration from years of living in
San Francisco and being influenced by Asian friends and their
community. I am also moved by Taoism which is reflected in my art.
|
LANDSCAPES
My inspiration for painting landscapes is the expression of light. I
love the natural world ... its color and texture; how it changes so
rapidly based on the movement of light. In
nature's bold color scheme there can be stillness and quiet.
|
SEASCAPES
The setting sun
... the reflection of the shore at low tide
... the mist rising on a tranquil lake. It is the
splendor of colors and hues streaking across the sky and
light dancing on water that inspire me to paint.

FASHION
& SHOES
Illustrating and painting fashion gives me a sense
of creative freedom. This collection is an eclectic portfolio that
reflects a passion for shoes and all things fashion. For me,
painting shoes is as much fun as
wearing them!
|
MISCELLANEOUS
I enjoy illustrating and painting floral, whimsical, and animal art. It's
playing with bright colors and allowing them to shape into form.
It's allowing the image to work through me as an expression of joy and fun!

Genece
Lorraine is one of the most creative people I know. Art, design,
color, and prose are all a basic part of her nature, whether it be a
digital painting, a poem, or a pair of shoes. --C. Friedland
