Asian Inspired
This collection is a visual diary of my experiences and inspirations through the Asian culture. Primarily, through my years of living in San Francisco and being influenced by Asian friends and the community. I am also moved by Taoism which is reflected in my art.
Landscapes
My inspiration when painting landscapes is an expression of light. I love the natural world ... the colour and texture; how it changes so rapidly based on the movement of light. I love to show that even in nature's bold colors, there can be stillness and quiet.
The Sea & Boats
As an artist, I love painting seascapes! The setting sun on the land ... the reflection of the shore at low tide ... the mist rising on a tranquil lake. It is the splendor of colors and hues streaking across the sky and light dancing on water that inspire me to paint.
